Spring is alive.

The trees are blossoming, bees are buzzing, and every ad on your feed is telling you it’s time to launch something, clean something, become someone.

But what if your spring isn’t about speeding up?

What if, beneath the blossom and the colour, you’re still tired?

‘Cause that is me.

I’m fucking tired.

And ya know what- I didn’t rest enough in my Winter and I can feel it.

We talk a lot about winter being the season of rest, but sometimes, the thaw doesn’t come all at once.

Sometimes, the body is still catching up, even as the daffodils pass and the bluebells come and go and then the daisies shoot up.

The bones are still tired.

This is your reminder that rest belongs in spring too.

Rest doesn’t have to mean sleep. It can look like:Leaving space in your diary instead of filling it because “you should”Sitting in the sun with no agenda but warmth on your skinLetting the garden grow wild for another weekNot launching that new thing just because everyone else is

This isn’t a race.You don’t win spring.You get to experience it.

And if you push yourself through now, there won’t be enough of you left to enjoy the summer.

Let alone Autumn.

What does rest look like for you in this season of bloom?

Maybe it’s slower mornings.

Maybe it’s putting your feet in the grass for five minutes before anyone else wakes up.

Maybe it’s saying no to one more plan.

You get to choose.

Spring is alive-but so are you.And living things need tending, not just pushing.

Sending you permission (if you need it).

Sending you a soft exhale.
